The Ditzy Rose Makery is a craft and sewing workshop in Cheshire, nestled in the traditional and quintessentially English village of Tattenhall.
Our opening times are:
Thursdays 10am – 4pm
Fridays 10am – 5pm
Saturdays 10am – 5pm
We receive fresh flowers and table displays from Goosegrass Flowers every Thursday morning.
We run popular Sewing lessons, Craft Workshops and parties for children and adults, including felting, jewellery-making, lampshade making and private sewing lessons. We run termly Sewing Schools for children of all abilities, and several times a month we also run open craft sessions for adults (Crafternoons or Knit & Natter sessions on Thursdays). We make a very good cup of tea, too!
Our workshop features handmade crafts and gifts which you simply won’t see on a typical high street or online. We showcase some of the best local crafts and makes from Cheshire – lovingly hand-crafted English country and vintage style gifts made by talented local craftspeople. The locally-made gifts in our gift shop combine lovely quality (which is very important to us) and practical items using beautiful fabrics and designs.
An inspirational and lovely nan, resourceful and crafty in more ways than one, left her sewing machine, hundreds of beads and crafty bits to her granddaughter – and so Ditzy Rose was born. The creating bug began and our mission is to spread the love for making…
Only the most lovely quality fabrics printed in England are used, including small items, off cuts, clothing and beads which we recycle and re-use wherever possible, making our gifts as environmentally friendly as possible. We recycle all of the packaging which our products/materials arrive in, and we use recycled and recyclable paper bags.
