Sewing Lessons for adults and Sewing School for children

With sewing machines and all of the equipment needed, we run sewing classes and lessons from our comfortable and creative workshop in the centre of Tattenhall. We can cater for home schooling, private or group sewing lessons and we also run termly Sewing Schools which tend to run in blocks of 4 lessons per month.

The revival in creating your own items from beautiful fabrics and recycled materials is here to stay. There’s so much satisfaction gained from simply making things yourself. We encourage this and love to invent, update and most of all have fun!

Ditzy Rose Makery also runs Beginners and Intermediate Sewing Classes for adults and children.

Bring your own sewing machine or borrow one of ours. You can also get to know your sewing machine at the same time as creating lovely things for you, your home or your friends. We also run a sewing café each month where you can rent a sewing machine by the hour.

For children, the Saturday sewing school runs during school term-time at both Beginners and Intermediate levels of sewing ability. The hour and a half sessions aim to provide children with a fun and educational experience of learning to use a sewing machine. We’ve had great feedback from previous sewing schools and camps, the children learn a lot and have a lot of fun too.

Private lessons and small group lessons are also available at our sewing studio, perfect for home-schooled children or when there’s a school inset day. Individual prices start from £25 for 1 1/2 hours.
